Snopes, the renowned fact-checking website, delved into the matter and concluded that while some details may be accurate, the overall authenticity of the audio remains questionable.

Possible shared Hollywood audio

The unnerving sounds captured the attention of many, sparking curiosity and speculation. Although the exact source of the noises continues to elude us, the dedication shown by those attempting to unravel the mystery is commendable.

Is it mining, secret testing, natural phenomena, and sky-quakes? You best believe that the last one is a thing, and there are videos on this. Check out the Facebook page Science Channel.

Odd Bird sounds are heard in the audio

I have noticed odd bird sounds in the audio, which could be added from a jungle. Now I don't know, as I'm not a jungle bird expert, but it sure seems a bit fishy to me. It's only my opinion that the Bird sounds in this video don't go with the surrounding high-rise apartment building block, but I could be wrong.

Widespread unknown origin phenomena and interest

It's intriguing how a simple video could generate such widespread interest and debate, highlighting the power of the unknown in captivating our imagination. Although Snopes concluded that it's likely Hollywood sounds lol, which I must say is a bit lame it's a perfect answer for someone who hasn't got a clue.

Well, the clues are there, and I'm more forgiving as I have a more open view that someone caught on camera what hundreds of people have been recording for decades now. While it's easy to blame Hollywood, it's the shutting down of the mystery and dismissing it that is what I have a problem with. Being open to possibilities would be my preferred response and not Hollywood, especially without reaching out to the eyewitness, which is quite laughable, to be honest with you.

Lazy investigation, and we owe the truth a better response

It's a lazy investigation as it would be so easy to reach out to the eyewitness, which is what I have done, and I'll report back when I get a response.

Conclusion

While the truth behind the apocalypse in Edmonton, Alberta may remain a mystery, the collective effort to uncover the facts is a testament to our insatiable curiosity. In a world filled with uncertainties, it's refreshing to see individuals coming together in pursuit of knowledge, even if the answers remain elusive. The allure of the unknown continues to fascinate us, driving our quest for understanding in the face of enigmatic phenomena like the Edmonton sounds of 2012.

Got Questions

Are the sky trumpets people have been reporting signs of the end times?

The link to the Snopes dismissive post is in my view and opinion only, and it kind of diminishes their usual investigation prowess, which I'm sure you'll find intriguing. They should have at least reached out to one eyewitness to get their story. As I said, I'll update this post as and when I get a response from the person who uploaded the footage to YouTube.
